This post is a little out of order (because since our last post we have done quite a bit - all without the van, which we will write about when things are "back to normal" :) ). But we thought we would update a few key points!
God has been good to us because the van repair costs will be covered by NRMA insurance - which is great news. The repairs should be complete on Monday 5th December, but we have certainly made the most of the time and have been to Wilsons Promontry, seen all the sights around Warragul, done extra school work and we are currently in Lakes Entrance enjoying a great caravan park with our tent.
The weather hasn't been fantastic, but we haven't felt like it has stopped us doing anything - it just makes it a little more difficult :)
We expect to start heading back toward Warragul tomorrow morning..
So what is www.bigaussieroadtrip.com all about? Well... hopefully, by the time we are done, it will be a comprehensive journal about a family of 5 who have travelled around Australia to see the sights and also do some volunteer work around the country! In Mid 2010 we started thinking about what it would take to fulfil a life-long dream... We wanted to bundle up our 3 kids, pack-up the house, jump in the car and hit the road - probably for about 12 months. It sounds so simple ... At the start of January 2013, after almost 15 months on the road; we finally completed Our Big Aussie Road Trip. We hope that you enjoyed following our adventures, trials and tribulations as much as we enjoyed having them!

back on track?
Yippee, we are finally back on the road again! It's been a long time coming (well it seems a long time anyway), but we have picked up the van and off we go again. We won't be back to 'normal' for a while because we have to re-orgainse everything back into the van but we will definitely update the blog again very soon.
